  1. OH, I feel like a stalker, but Hi. My name is Lindsay and you commented on CJane's blog shortly after me. I struggled with the right words and got a few jumbled sentences out then you just laid it out there perfectly! Thanks.
Here's the cool thing- I also have a son with autism. (an autistic daughter, too) He won't ever be able to take care of himself either. (well, miracles do happen..) I hope you don't mind me peeking in on your blog to see if you have any interesting recipes. Is your son a picky eater too?

  2. Don't feel like a stalker. This blog is meant to share. Although I have been very sporadic about posting lately. As you can no doubt relate, I am pretty busy and life is chaotic.

My son is very picky about food, but most of my other kids are too! Ugh. But he hyper focuses on one kind of food. For instance, he will go for days on a spaghetti kick and that is all he will eat. But the thing that mostly drives me crazy about his eating habits is that he eats constantly! Seriously, he eats all day long! He is so thin-not an ounce of fat on him. The only thing I can figure is that is due to the fact that he never stops moving!

I am going to TRY and post more often so feel free to stop by again.

  3. My son, Garret, is rail-thin too. And always wanting to snack! And ALWAYS on the move... I'm glad he doesn't obsess over one food, though. He is limited though, so I have to get creative on how I get a veggie in him once in a while...
